Frozen Perl 2011

Frozen Perl is a three day event held at the University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis, MN. The main event is a one-day, two-track workshop on Saturday, February 5th.

There will also be two Perl classes on Friday, February 4th. "Effective Perl Programming" will be taught by our keynote speaker brian d foy, and the other a class on Moose taught by Dave Rolsky.

There will also be a hackathon on Sunday, February 6th.

Registration

Registration is now open. Registration is $20 at the student/low-income rate, and $40 for everyone else. We also have an individual sponsorship rate of $120 if you'd like to give a little extra to support the workshop.

To register, you need an ACT account. If you've registered for previous ACT conferences (YAPC or Frozen Perl), you can log in with an existing account. If you don't have an account yet, you can create a new one.

Once you have an account you can register for the workshop.

Thank you everybody for coming to Frozen Perl 2011. I had a great time, and I hope that you did as well. If you were a speaker please feel free to publish your talks on the wiki.

02/05/11 - Hackathon

The Hackathon will be at Coffman Memorial Union on Sunday the 6th from 12:00 to 5:00 or when folks decide to leave, whichever comes first. Please check the wiki for more information. If you are looking for us call 651-829-9860

02/05/11 - Don't forget that we have raffle tickets!

Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets when checking in or during one of the breaks.

Tickets will be $1 for 1, and $5 for 10. We will also accept credit card payements at the desk using the website payment system.

02/03/11 - Classes tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning the Classes will each start at 9:00 A.M. In the McNamara Alumni Center. Registration starts at 8:15.

The Pre-Conference dinner will be at 6:00 at the Loring Pasta bar. Please feel free to join us, we look foward to seeing all of you.
