Friday Evening Socializing
So you have just arrived in town, checked into the hotel, and want to find someplace where you might know someone. Between this page and irc hopefully we can find each other.
A suggestion has been made that we go to the "leaning tower of pizza" next to the Days Inn. They have beer and billiards, but probably not wifi. If anyone has a better place to be please post it here.
"Stub and Herbs" has the best beer menu within a walk from the venue. They also technically "have wireless." Solid Happy-hour on nights the Golden Gophers don't have the place packed (no games in town this weekend). The kitchen produces competitive bar fare.
